Clothing that cares about the environment as much as you do
All of our products are ethically printed on demand to your size and colour requirements so there’s no end of season stock that goes in the landfill. We also use vegan non toxic inks which means that there’s less pollutants and water usage.
Slow fashion made to last
We choose our products carefully to make sure that they are longer lasting and of good quality. Furthermore all of our manufacturers and print on demand providers offer ethical work conditions for their employees. The services between the manufacturer are also fully automated and paperless.
Protecting our beautiful world for future generations
We feel it is important to wear clothing that represents who we are and the way we see the world, made from organic, recycled and eco materials which respect the environment as much as possible.
Through Hibiscus Surfwear, we offer you something you want to wear which makes you truly comfortable in your body: clothing which supports nature, our planet and our children's future.

Enviro collection
We know how important caring for the environment is to surfers. You love the ocean and so do we!
Through our Enviro collection we aim to educate others about endangered species, why they are important to protect and what is endangering them. We also focus on climate issues such as plastic and water usage to inform others about what they can do to make the world a better place for our future generations.
The Enviro collection is available in T-shirts, hoodies, swimwear and accessories for both adults and children and makes the ideal gift for discerning environmentalists.
Organic, eco, ethical, recycled
Organic
This means your garment is 100% organic cotton. Our organic cotton garments are primarily manufactured by Stella Stanley in Bangladesh. They do not use slave labour and support women and their communities through extensive training programmes. For more information about Stanley Stella please click here.
Eco
This means your garment is 85% organic cotton and is also mixed with 15% recycled polyester. This is used in our Eco pullover hoodies to create the stretch in the cuffs. These garments are also primarily manufactured by Stella Stanley.
Ethical
This means your garment is produced responsibly. The manufacturing of this garment is lawful, ethical, and safe to the workers and environment. Ethical garments are made of non organic materials such as ringspun cotton or polyester. Our ethical long sleeve t-shirt, tri-blend t-shirt, tank top and hoodie are manufactured by Bella & Canvas, please visit their website here for further information.
Recycled
Why do we support recycled fabrics? Recycled polyester (rPET for short) is a fabric that’s produced from synthetic fibers. Recycled polyester is produced by recycling existing materials (like plastic bottles and packaging) but still has all the characteristics and performance as a regular polyester, making it a more sustainable fabric alternative.
Recycled polyester is made by crushing plastic products into small pieces. These small pieces are then processed into yarn, transformed into a fiber, and in the end—made into a fabric.
Producing rPet takes 33% to 53% less energy than creating polyester from scratch. Also, rPet produces approximately 54.6% fewer CO2 emissions to the air than virgin polyester.
By using recycled materials to make things like our Recycled High-Waisted Bikini, at least some of the plastic waste produced doesn’t end up in landfills.
